The Boundless "Tell us why you want the new ESV Study Bible" Contest
We appreciate your interest in our contest. The good news is that the ESV Study Bible is available through both brick-and-mortar and online bookstores. (CBD sells them at a great price, BTW.) The bad news is that our contest is over.
It wasn't an easy task, but we have selected the 10 winners. We've listed them, and included excerpts from their entries, over on our blog, The Line.
Thanks again for visiting Boundless. It's our prayer that your stay was a pleasant one, and that you'll be back to visit us real soon.
Buzz about the forthcoming ESV Study Bible has reached a crescendo. In development for years, this acclaimed 2,752-page tome is finally hitting the stands on Oct. 15. Publisher Crossway Books explains their motivations for creating the ESV Study Bible:
The goal and vision of the ESV Study Bible is, first and foremost, to honor the Lord -- in terms of the excellence, beauty, and accuracy of its content and design; and in terms of helping people come to a deeper understanding of the Bible, of the Gospel, and of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Crossway is a not-for-profit publishing ministry and all receipts from the ESV Study Bible go directly toward the support of this ministry goal around the world."
Albert Mohler calls it a "treasure." John Piper calls it "breathtaking," "a dream come true for me." Mark Driscoll considers it "the most important resource that has been given to the emerging generation of Bible students and teachers." Christian author Jerry Bridges sums up what many are coming to find about this book: "The ESV Study Bible is the finest study tool I have seen in fifty years of Bible teaching. The notes, articles, maps, and illustrations are all of the highest quality. It is a great achievement!"
Boundless and ESV Study Bible publisher Crossway Books are celebrating this groundbreaking book by giving away one of them every weekday from Oct. 6 through Oct. 17. The rules are simple: Just let us know why we should award you one, and the most convincing entries will get one.
Please note that in order to qualify, you must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States (our sincerest apologies to those of you who live outside the U.S. -- the legal and logistical aspects are just beyond our ability to accommodate). Click here for the official contest rules.
Please submit your entry via e-mail to editor@boundless.org. Make sure "ESV Contest Entry" is in the subject.
