Our Vision

Boundless is an award-winning ministry of Focus on the Family with the goal of helping young adults grow up, own their faith, date with purpose and prepare for marriage and family. Through articles, a group blog, a weekly podcast and the power of community, we challenge 20- and 30-somethings to reject society's low expectations and live biblically and intentionally in all things, including relationships. For more about our vision for this generation, see The Big Picture.

Our Team

Lisa Anderson

Lisa Anderson

Lisa Anderson is the director of Boundless and young adults at Focus on the Family, and hosts The Boundless Show  podcast.  She loves connecting with single young adults and strategizing how to better equip them for life, relationships and a faith that goes the distance; she does not love managing budgets or signing contracts, but realizes that's part of her job, too. Lisa can often be heard at conferences and on radio and TV, getting worked up about dating, relationships, faith and hip-hop. She grew up in San Jose, California, is a graduate of Trinity International University in Chicago, and spent a good chunk of her life in media relations before joining Boundless. She runs to counterbalance her love of pastries and chicken tikka masala, and often quotes her mom, who's known to say outrageous things.

Martha Krienke

Martha Krienke is the editor and producer of Boundless. She prefers working behind the scenes by managing our website, blog and social media as well as booking guests and planning themes for the podcast. But occasionally you'll find her writing on the blog and hear her on The Boundless Show. If her name sounds familiar, it's because Martha was associate editor of Brio and Brio & Beyond magazines at Focus on the Family from 2005 – 2009. Originally from the small town of Sleepy Eye, Minn., she is a graduate of University of Northwestern in St. Paul. Martha enjoys baking desserts, hanging out with her 10 nieces and nephews, traveling, signing up for (and winning!) door prizes, and brainstorming new topics for Boundless to discuss.

Anthony Ashley

Anthony Ashley

Anthony Ashley is the project administrator of Boundless. He likes getting things done and making ideas into reality. Anthony is excited by terms like "transmedia storytelling" and thinks writing, fixing/building websites, and working on social media campaigns are actually fun. Anthony grew up in Texas but considers himself a Coloradan. He graduated from College of the Ozarks. He enjoys songwriting, playing guitar, fly fishing, mountaineering, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and daughters. There could hardly be a bio of Anthony without mention of his great passion for bacon and ice cream.

Our Values

1. We believe that all people are of infinite value, regardless of age, development, appearance or ability.

2. We believe that marriage is the foundation of family life, and that God's design for marriage is a relationship where both husband and wife are committed to loving and caring for one another for a lifetime.

3. We believe children are a gift from God, and thrive best in a home where both mother and father are committed to raising them with love, intention and care.

4. We believe sex is given by God as an expression of love to be shared and enjoyed exclusively between a husband and wife.

5. We believe that Christians have a responsibility to promote truth and social policy that improves the strength and health of the family, as God designed.

6. And we believe that parents should aspire to model for their children how to humbly follow the teachings and spirit of Jesus at home and in the community.
