In a day of new media, instant gratification, and concerns for the environment ...
Does the world really need one more magazine?
Call us crazy, but we say "yes."
While prophets of digital media write obituaries for good old-fashioned magazines, we know there are still discerning readers standing athwart history, yelling "stop!"
We know there are bibliophiles who still love the perk of having a nice crisp magazine show up in their mailbox as a fresh contrast to bills and junk mail ... who appreciate life-enhancing articles ready to be enjoyed wherever they want to go — the bus, the beach or even the bathroom.
We know that for all the convenience and interactivity of digital media, there's still a wholesomeness to the time-tested old-fashioned media of ink on paper.
And let's be honest, sheer economics and logistics force magazines to be at least a hair more credible. There's just too much trouble and cost associated with print for producers not to want to produce something of value.
But what about "these kids today" — the ones that supposedly don't read magazines anymore because they're too busy googling and texting and such?
Well, we'll just have to see about that. Trendspotters tell us they still see college students and twentysomethings sitting in coffee shops enjoying hot beverages and cool magazines.
But will young readers subscribe to Boundless magazine? Will they be interested in a bold Christian vision for the most crucial transitional season of their lives? Will they care for insights on marrying well in a post-marriage culture or on making the most of their time, money and calling? And will they appreciate a good laugh everyone once in awhile?
That's up to you.
We're up for producing a quarterly magazine if you'll show us you're interested. Prove your enthusiasm by submitting the following form to us. We'll let you know as soon as we receive approval to go ahead with this thing.
