Somebody to Love

Guests: Martha Krienke, Thomas Voss, Kevin McCreary, Carrie Kintz and Adam Holz

[37:02] -

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend an early screening of the Justin Bieber movie, Never Say Never. Going into the theater, all I knew of Justin was that tween girls want to marry him and that YouTube somehow helped kick-start his career. Plus, it got me thinking about the nature of celebrity crushes. Why do people have them, and what impact do they have on our perspective of reality? Listen in as we discuss this topic’s silly and serious sides.

Culture Shift

Guests: Tim Goeglein

[4:48] -

Washington insider Tim Goeglein has seen a lot. As a former White House staffer and special assistant to President George W. Bush, Tim knows the power of politics. But as he sits down with Lisa for this segment, he argues that for all their merit, bills, policies and party platforms will not change our culture. What will? Listen as Tim talks about influencing the hearts and minds of our generation.
