EVENT REGISTRATION
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Policy Statement:
A constituent who has registered for a Focus on the Family event and is unable to attend may call 1-800-AFAMILY (232-6459) to request a refund.  Refunds may only be requested via phone, and no refunds will be granted automatically due to non-attendance.  A refund of payment(s) received may be requested up to 14 calendar days before the start date of the event, less a 10% processing fee per registration.  No refunds will be issued less than 14 calendar days prior to the event, except in the following cases:

Criteria for a full refund (granted anytime throughout the registration process and up to 14 calendar days after the event):
•  A death in the immediate family
•  Personal or immediate family serious illness or near-death illness (attendee is in the hospital, on bed rest, going through chemo treatments, etc)

Options to transfer event registration
If the "no refund" date has passed, or if the constituent desires to transfer their registration, the following options are available:
•  A constituent may transfer their registration fee to another event of the same type and cost for any reason up to the date of the event, and according to the exception guidelines up to 14 calendar days after the event.
•  For limited use (only if a constituent specifically requests): A constituent may transfer their registration fee to another person for any reason up to the date of the event.
