In community with God’s people, singles can discern their calling and (where appropriate) pursue marriage honorably.
Marriage and singleness are both gifts and difficulties. It seems every season holds its own challenges and unique benefits.
In a sense, I think it’s wrong to give singles the impression that Jesus can satisfy the stab we feel when we look at someone else’s wedding photos.
Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love — particularly the love that leads to marriage — and those of us who are single have at least three reasons to celebrate.
We’re all stories written by God. But it’s easy to hate parts of your story. Maybe your story isn’t panning out the way you expected it to.
This Thanksgiving, let’s celebrate the day by reflecting on our awesome God and thanking Him for the countless ways He cares for us.
