I can hear myself now: “I, Lisa, take you, the Smiths…” It’s often said that you don’t just marry a person, you marry their whole family. And that’s somewhat true. But how do you balance that with the biblical mandate to leave and cleave? This week we discuss the principles of healthy boundaries in the realm of in-laws and extended family: what’s right, what’s wrong, and what needs grace and a generous dose of compromise.
