What’s Behind Your Food Problem

Guests: Asheritah Ciuciu,

21:51 –

It all started with a caterpillar-shaped cake. Asheritah came uncomfortably close to (sneakily) eating the whole thing, so she naturally countered her indulgence by doing a month of Whole30. Her ups and downs finally brought the realization: She had an unhealthy preoccupation with food. Lisa went on her first diet in 6th grade, so she and Asheritah talk about the realities of food fixation, exercise obsession and the guilt and shame at the heart of it all. Is there a spiritual need (and solution) in there somewhere?
