Guests: John Finch,

I think all of us worry about repeating our parents’ mistakes. John Finch woke up one day and realized he was well on his way to doing that. His dad was largely absent as John grew up, and after some stints in prison and involvement with the mafia, his dad committed suicide. John talks to us about healing a “father wound” through forgiveness, learning empathy for his dad, and finally coming to the understanding that we don’t have to repeat the sins of our fathers.
