When circumstances seem to indicate we’ve stalled, we can trust that God is still at work transforming us into the image of His Son.
It is an idolatrous belief that marriage will satisfy the longings of our hearts. We’ll only feel complete when we belong to God.
God does tell us to be content, and singleness isn’t exempt from that. But he doesn’t tell us we have to be happy all the time.
As if finding the “perfect” spouse isn’t stressful enough, the pressure surrounding “ring by spring” can add an extra dose of anxiety.
