When I project negative facts, motives or thoughts onto other people, it often says more about my heart than it does the person I’m judging.
Because God has control of my singleness, I am free to pour my time and energy into whatever opportunities come my way, even if they aren’t what I expected.
It’s crazy to think about how God uses little things to bring about big changes — sometimes even course corrections — for us.
Some days can be brutal. Through the years I have found a few helpful ways to cope with an especially discouraging day.
Do you sometimes think you’ve been forgotten or overlooked by God? I sometimes question if God’s love for me is sufficient.
Kindness can be tricky because it’s sacrificial. It isn’t just paying for the person behind you in line at Starbucks.
Am I OK with my contributions going unnoticed? I’m not sure I have that kind of humility.
