Fourth of July is the best day of the year after Christmas. This year my family is enjoying the usual festivities in South Dakota — without me.
If you want some fresh ideas for your Mother’s Day gift, I hear you. We want to give something memorable, but moms aren’t always the easiest to shop for.
When we can’t be together, let’s share encouragement and hope by intentionally reaching out to others.
With all the emotional energy involved in learning to survive and cope in a new reality, I didn’t even think about these relationships slipping away.
