I wanted to celebrate my friend’s wedding, but my mind was plagued with thoughts of doubt, jealousy and bitterness.

“What are you going to do with your life?” When I answer that question, am I listening to Satan’s lies? Or am I listening to God’s truth?

God was relentlessly pursuing me — a porn-addicted son, ridden with guilt, trapped in bondage, no longer isolated in fear, but surrounded with support.

When I got rejected, I questioned every detail, which only led to more pain. But I’ve learned there are better ways to deal with rejection.

Fourth of July is the best day of the year after Christmas. This year my family is enjoying the usual festivities in South Dakota — without me.
