There are many ways to consider the application of God’s limitless wisdom — in work, media use, managing money. Men especially will find value in its implications for marriage.
As easy as it is to step in and offer solutions, maybe your friend needs an “I don’t know” more than she needs a cure for singleness.
“I believe what we do now matters to those that are coming behind us. What’s in your heart to do now that will matter in eternity?”
As I look back, it is clear to me that waiting for marriage for much longer than I expected was for my good.
Although I waited until marriage to have sex, I have no doubt that it still would’ve felt great — at least physically — to do it before saying my vows.
When we can’t be together, let’s share encouragement and hope by intentionally reaching out to others.
