On the Gift of Singleness
Had God given me the “gift” of singleness? And was the gift of singleness for a season, or would it be a lifetime calling?

Can the words “healthy” and “singles ministry” be used in the same sentence? Yes, if the ministry has these important characteristics.
How can we remind ourselves that we are blessed even when our disappointments or left-out feelings feel so much bigger?
Feelings of alone-ness can pop up more easily around holidays, so there may be no better time to remind ourselves of why we even celebrate Christmas.
It is an idolatrous belief that marriage will satisfy the longings of our hearts. We’ll only feel complete when we belong to God.
God does tell us to be content, and singleness isn’t exempt from that. But he doesn’t tell us we have to be happy all the time.
