How should Christians respond to Pride month? Should we shake our fists? Change our profile pictures in solidarity? Or maybe there’s another option?
The underlying message was that if we would abstain from sexual intercourse, we would “remain pure.” If only.
What would happen if we emphasized the positives and the beauty of sex in its proper context more than the negatives of its cheap caricature?
Although I waited until marriage to have sex, I have no doubt that it still would’ve felt great — at least physically — to do it before saying my vows.
Despite what porn advocates preach, it isn’t safe, harmless and fun. It is evil.
If you talk about it, I guarantee you’ll find other Christian men and women who are right there with you, needing prayer, encouragement and guidance to overcome the same problem.
