Maybe the differences between you and others in your church aren’t particularly obvious (or maybe they are!), but you’re bonded together now as the people of God (1 Peter 2:9-10). This one thing — even if it’s the only thing we have in common — makes the church a family.
A strong case can be made for churches having a singles ministry, but can having one unintentionally ostracize singles from the rest of their church family?
Don’t allow the enemy to win in his quest to maintain racial division and suspicion, especially in the body of Christ where it has no place.
It’s hard to walk into church and sit alone, never hear a sermon related to single adult life, and feel invisible when it comes to ministries and events.
The church isn’t a consolation prize for the spouseless, childless, family-less. The church is my ultimate family.
It’s pretty easy to stop attending church regularly and not feel too bad about it.The question is, will I do faith my way or His?
While many reject smaller churches due to a lack of programming or community, perhaps a small church is exactly what you need.
