The habit of being busy has bled into other aspects of my life. While hospitality does take work, I find myself missing out.

I hate happy endings. It’s not real life. But even amid frustrations, letdowns and death — there’s still hope. And I need that reassurance.

Shootings seem to be happening more and more. The more I see these and other tragedies in my newsfeed, the more desensitized I become.

I quit my job three weeks ago. But I didn’t feel elated like I had expected. Instead of looking forward to this big change, I began to dread the end.
