“The Boundless Show,” Then and Now
The first episode of “The Boundless Show” aired in January 2008. That was 500 episodes, interviews, intros, laughs, cries, music beds, Inbox questions and calls to action ago. Wow. Why did we decide to start podcasting? How was the host chosen? What were some favorite moments for staff? Do we all feel super old?! Join Steve and Candice Watters, Martha Krienke and Lisa Anderson for a walk down memory lane.
Your Favorite Interview of All Time
Guests: Susie Larson,
The votes are in, and almost one quarter of you (24.6%) voted Susie Larson’s interview of Lisa Anderson (Who Is Lisa Anderson?: Episode 288) as your favorite Culture segment of all time. Lisa’s hosted the show from the beginning, so it was fun to turn the tables on her and make her the interviewee on her own show, and of course Susie was just the pro to do it. Many of you have said how Lisa’s vulnerability about walking out the single life with grace and confidence has been a huge encouragement to you. (She almost wouldn’t let us count her segment in the votes, but the people have spoken.) Runners up included Francis and Lisa Chan (14.8%), Laurie Polich Short (7%), Fayrene Clark-Reese (6.3%) and Rebecca St. James (4.2%).
Why I Love “The Boundless Show”
Boundless wants to encourage, strengthen and prepare young adults in key areas of life. But our real reason for showing up each day is to glorify God and make His name known across the world. We asked you to write testimonies of how God has spoken through the content of “The Boundless Show.” Maybe you identified with a guest in a unique way, or someone shared a scriptural truth that hit home. Maybe your opinion on something was changed. Or maybe, like some have shared, you were introduced to Jesus Christ for the first time. Join Dave, Kathryn and Lisa as they read the impact emails you sent.
