On the Gift of Singleness
Had God given me the “gift” of singleness? And was the gift of singleness for a season, or would it be a lifetime calling?

Not caring about appearances is hard. Surrounded by perfect figures from Hollywood, I’m plagued by messages saying physical beauty is how you attract love.
How can we acknowledge that life is a wonderful blessing when it isn’t always merry and bright? Is it OK to at times just be OK?
A strong case can be made for churches having a singles ministry, but can having one unintentionally ostracize singles from the rest of their church family?
I believe most women have a deeper need for a declaration of beauty, and that need is our Creator calling us to himself.
Maybe you are dealing with the same unrealized dream that I am, or maybe it’s something else.
There are a number of perfectly reasonable reasons in addition to Scripture why saving sex for marriage makes sense.
I think I am making the most of this single season, but I know there is always more to learn and receive.
Knowing you are cared about simply for being you, regardless of whatever failures your body is going through, is powerful.
